At
22 years old, Richmond Heights’s Anna Melomud
is a self described “bookworm.” In fact,
one of her favorite topics to read about is organic chemistry.
But after being crowned Miss OHIO USA 2007 Anna is finding
less time to read about organic chemistry and is focused
on her journey to the 2007 MISS USA competition.
Now
is her final year attending Kent State University Anna
will
soon receive her Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Biology
and Pre-Medicine. Anna has worked with, and contributed
generously to a number of charities and is mostly focused
on breast cancer research. Just like many others, Anna’s
life was affected by this disease when her grandmother
became diagnosed six years ago. Her grandmother is now
cancer free and Anna would like to see the same positive
result for more women.
At
5’8 with blonde hair
and blue eyes Anna’s
extracurricular activities include working out, reading,
cooking and spending time with her family. This medical
school applicant plans to earn a Doctor of osteopathy
degree and become an accredited Osteopathic physician
and practice
family medicine.
"I am extremely honored to represent my state at the
MISS USA pageant” quotes Anna.
The
Miss Universe Organization, producers of the MISS UNIVERSE*,

Gilda’s
Club and the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations,
