Girl Talk
Founded in 2002, Girl Talk is a student-to-student mentoring program that pairs
middle school girls with high school girls who serve as mentors. Weekly meetings
are held before or after school, during which the high school leader conducts
valuable lessons that address issues middle school girls face every day.

Best Buddies
Best Buddies is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the
lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for
one-to-one friendships and integrated employment.

Project
Sunshine
Project Sunshine is a nonprofit organization that provides free educational,
recreational, and social programs to children facing medical challenges and
their families. Project Sunshine sends volunteers to visit hospitalized children
to provide arts and crafts, tutoring, reading, nutritional cooking and special
events. With 10,000 volunteers in 75 cities across the United States, Canada,
China, Israel, Kenya, and Puerto Rico, Project Sunshine serves 60,000 children
each year in 150 medical facilities.

Sparrow
Clubs
Sparrow Clubs USA is a national non-profit organization of school-based clubs
that assist children in medical crisis. Through community service and fundraising
projects, Sparrow Clubs support children who have either life threatening illnesses
or chronic disabilities and whose families face financial hardship because
of it.

D.A.R.E.
D.A.R.E. is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teaches children
from kindergarten through 12th grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive
drug and violence-free live
