
At
17 years old, Gahanna’s Rachel Epperly would
describe herself as a complete “girly-girl.” Rachel
will be working hard this year to maintain her straight
A average, her honor roll status, working as the
secretary of her senior class council and now she
will include
preparing for MISS TEEN USA 2007 to her activities.
Now
in her senior year at Gahanna Christian Academy, Rachel
is a varsity cheerleader and captain, a member
of the National
Honor Society and National Honor Society secretary.
At
5’6 with brown hair and green eyes, Rachel is
the daughter of Larry and Becki Epperly. Rachel also
has a younger sister, Leah who is fifteen. Rachel contributes
generously to her Church youth group and nursery. As
a
camp leader volunteer, Rachel has also served on 2 mission’s
trips to Mexico.
Rachel is currently volunteering with Best Buddies
and also promotes A.T.M. (Abstinence “Till Marriage)
by volunteering at the central Ohio headquarters, taking
classes, and speaking in schools around Ohio. Rachel’s
plans are to select a college and become a nurse.
The
Miss Universe Organization, producers of the MISS
UNIVERSE®,
MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA® Pageants, is a
Donald J. Trump and NBC Universal partnership. By forging
relationships
with organizations committed to education and action,
such as SHiNE (Seeking Harmony in Neighborhoods Everyday),
Sparrow
Clubs, D.A.R.E. and Best Buddies, Miss Teen USA is
armed to impact teenagers today.
